Dr. Yuhan Yao received a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Peking University in China, and a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California in the United States. At the NIO Autonomous Driving (AD) Department, Dr. Yao is currently leading the solution delivery team and the sensing systems engineering team.

Before joining NIO, Dr. Yao had studied and worked in the United States since 2012. In the past decade, Dr. Yao has served key roles as tech lead and system architect for top Silicon Valley companies including Oracle, Apple and Waymo. Dr. Yao has led efforts to deliver several industry-renowned products such as iPhone, Waymo Driver, and NIO Autonomous Driving systems.

Jonathan Vargas Ruiz is a Director at ABeam Consulting, leading the group’s Mobility business and Automotive strategy for the ASEAN region as part of the industry business unit. Over the past decade, Jonathan has supported automotive clients in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, with a focus on Dealer Management Systems, Data Analytics and Mobility Optimization. His most recent work relates to the trends in the automotive industry and how digital tools will impact its stakeholders and what will be required to achieve a successful transition to stay relevant.

Akshay Prasad is a Senior Manager with Arthur D. Little South East Asia with over eight years of consulting experience advising firms in South East Asia, Asia-Pacific, the USA, and the European Union.

An alumnus of Yale School of Management and the London School of Economics, Akshay has advised firms on growth strategy, market entry, competitive benchmarking, and commercial due diligence, specializing in New Mobility Services.

Within new mobility services, Akshay has extensive experience on projects in the EV sector, working for OEMs, Charging Infra, Battery Swapping, and nontraditional players on their EV strategy. His clientele includes OEMs, PE firms, new entrants and public sector.

His notable projects include advising a global OEM on its market entry strategy for its EV product in the Indian market, supporting an O&G firm to enter the LiB supply chain in Indonesia, and conducting commercial and technical due diligence of a battery swapping operator in the Indian market.

Joseph Hong is the Managing Director in Robert Bosch responsible for the markets in Thailand and Laos. Robert Bosch is a German multinational technology and

services firm active in four business sectors - Mobility Solutions, Consumer Goods, Industrial Technology and Energy and Building Technology. As a leading AIoT provider, Bosch offers innovative solutions for smart homes, Industry 4.0, and connected mobility. Bosch creates technology that is “Invented for life”. Prior to his current assignment, Joseph has taken on various roles in the Bosch group in sales, marketing, business development and strategy with postings in the Philippines, Germany and Singapore. He also sits on the board of several Bosch companies and joint ventures in Thailand and Singapore. Joseph is currently the Vice President of the Thai European Business Association (TEBA).

Satid joined the company in 2011, and prior to his current role,was based at the Powertrain Solutions headquarters in Schwieberdingen, Germany from 2016-2021.

Satid represents the business interests of Bosch in the areas of electrification and e-mobility services, and other future growth opportunities in the region. With a career in the automotive sector spanning over 20 years, Satid offers extensive knowledge in pollution emissions and innovative technologies, having worked in progressive markets like Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Austria, and Germany.

Satid holds a degree in Electrical and Control System Engineering from the Kasetsart University in Thailand.
