He holds the position of Vice President in both the Thai Automotive Industry Association and the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT). With a career spanning from 1986 to the present, he has been actively involved in various management roles within the Thai automotive industry, including production, logistics, quality control, inventory management, and sales. This extensive experience has made him well-versed in all aspects of the automotive sector.

Over his 38 years in management, Mr. Suroj has witnessed the remarkable growth of the automotive industry in Thailand. In 2022, the government introduced a subsidy program for electric vehicles to promote their usage.
As a leading company in the Thai electric vehicle market, MG actively invested in and contributed to the development of electric vehicle infrastructure. However, at that time, the electric vehicle industry in Thailand was still in its nascent stage, and the implementation and enforcement of related policies faced various challenges.

He is the  General Counsel of Global Legal & Strategy of the largest manufacturer of EV batteries in the world, he is committed to implementing supply chain solutions to the manufacture and assembly of lithium and MNC cells for major car manufacturers. Previously, he oversaw global investments and acquisitions for the biggest logistics player in Asia, which culminated in the USD 2.3 Billion acquisition of Kerry Logistics in 2022. Qualified to practice law in four jurisdictions, he started his career at a magic circle firm and progressed to the position of General Counsel at a Forbes 50 MNC, where he managed the building of many iconic buildings across the globe. Dr. Indra Chandra Setiawan has work in the Automotive sector more than 20 years now. He is currently the Project General Manager of Toyota Daihatsu Engineering Manufacturing Thailand, in charge for Zero Emission Vehicle Strategy and Technical Research for Asia Region. He has a key role in formulating Toyota Strategy toward Carbon Neutrality in the region through the development of Zero Emissions Vehicle, both BEV & FCEV.

As part of leading research team, Dr Indra has work hard to drive a sustainable Automotive Policy together with Indonesian Government Stake holders. He also a member of IATO (Society of Automotive Engineer – SAE Indonesia) and actively participate in many activities for promoting Automotive Technology and Industry Development. He has also earned FISITA Fellowship award from IATO.

He resides in Bangkok, Thailand with his wife Asti and their three children. When he isn’t spending time with his family or promoting Carbon Neutrality via Multiple Pathways approach, you’ll find him on his favorite golf course.

Satid Malairodsiri is Senior Customer Chief Engineering Manager of Powertrain Solution Division and responsible for the Southeast Asia market.
